🎉 2026 Parade Information & Participant Guidelines
Parade Date: Saturday, June 27, 2026
Parade Start Time: 11:00 a.m. sharp

Floats will be judged with cash prizes awarded:

🚩 Lineup Information
- Lineup begins: 9:00 a.m.
- Road closure: No one will be allowed onto Eagle Lake Road after 10:00 a.m.
- Large groups: Please gather before 9:00 a.m. at a staging area (recommended: high school parking lot near the flagpole).
- Enter the parade lineup together using only your designated parade vehicle.
The route will follow the same path as in past years:
- Start: Eagle Lake Road at Park Avenue
- Continue: Down Eagle Lake Road
- Turn: Onto Minnesota Ave.
- End: Minnesota Ave.
- Take-down location: In front of Independence Elementary
There are ONLY TWO designated performance areas:
- Hornet Way off Eagle Lake Road (in front of the judges’ area)
- Minnesota Ave. (in front of the television broadcast area)
🍬 Candy Distribution Policy
- Candy must be handed out by walkers traveling with your entry.
- Do NOT throw candy from floats or vehicles.
- This policy is for participant and spectator safety.
- Candy distribution is encouraged — just please keep it safe.
To reduce litter:
- Flyers, posters, stickers, and loose handouts are not permitted
- Items may only be distributed if securely attached to something that will not blow away.
🏆 Float Prizes
Floats will be judged with cash prizes awarded:
- 🥇 First Place — $100
- 🥈 Second Place — $75
- 🥉 Third Place — $50
EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION – MARCH 1st to JUNE 1st
$35.00 payment for profit organizations / $10.00 payment for nonprofit & civil organizations
LATE REGISTRATION – June 2nd- June 12th
$50.00 payment for profit organizations / $25 payment for nonprofit & civil organizations
